Sandra Cranny
Chief Strategy Officer/President
Sandy formed SC Squared Media in 2014 after spending more than two decades in an executive leadership role at one of the largest advertising agencies in Nebraska. Her goal was to build a media and communications consultancy that would provide best-in-class media services to local, regional and national clients who couldn’t otherwise access services at that level.
As a communications leader with 35+ years of experience, she’s managed a variety of campaigns with annual budgets ranging from $150,000 to $10 million – all with the same philosophy: develop media partnerships to leverage every dollar invested, no matter the size of the budget.
Sandy and her team have been the recipients of numerous MediaPost National Creative Media Awards – recognizing media that goes beyond the numbers to build relevant and engaging communications plans that get results.
Sierra Frauen
Media Director
Sierra has a decade of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying for local, regional and national clients. She manages campaigns from the top down including overarching strategies, buy executions, cross channel optimizations, attribution, and completion reporting.
Throughout her career Sierra has planned and executed buys across all paid media. She has a media agnostic approach, using media consumption information and target audience research to determine the appropriate mix for each new campaign.
Prior to joining the SC Squared Media team Sierra created the in-house media specialist role for Nelnet, and worked as a media planner/buyer at several advertising agencies. She holds multiple Google Certifications; including Search, Measurement, and Video.
Nina Graziano
Manager of Accounts and Content Strategy
Nina has a passion for helping others. That’s why after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, she chose to become a full-time volunteer through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. She spent a year focused on community service at Habitat for Humanity of Omaha. This volunteer role turned into a 12-year-long career in communications at the nonprofit. By the time she joined SC Squared Media in 2021, Nina had been leading Habitat Omaha’s communication for 4 years while the organization had grown from nearly 20 employees when she began to more than 100 by the time she left.
Nina joined our team to expand the services we provide while focusing on account management, research and stewardship initiatives. Her experience leading communications—including branding, creative and strategy—makes her an incredible asset to the team and our clients.
Monica Henkenius
Media Supervisor
Monica’s attention to detail, focus on strategic planning and strong negotiation skills add significant value to our clients’ investments. She’s a stickler for post-buy analysis and ensuring that each client gets what they paid for no matter the size of the campaign.
Throughout her 20+ year career in media planning and buying, she’s worked with a variety of clients including large national corporations and well-known nonprofits. Prior to joining the SC Squared Media team Monica served as Media Supervisor at one of Nebraska’s largest advertising agencies.
She is passionate about the community and has shared media and marketing expertise by serving on the boards of several local nonprofits.
Christy Puev
Senior Planner/Buyer
Christy has been active in media and communications planning for 20+ years. Her eagle eye for detail and precision and knack for process orientation ensure that everything meets plan goals.
She has experience being part of in-house marketing departments as well as working for full-service advertising agencies. Her media roles have included Media Specialist, Associate Director of Activation, and Media Director. In addition to focusing on communications planning, Christy has served as an Account Executive and Director of Operations expanding her knowledge and experience marketing campaigns from start to finish.
Christy has been active with the American Advertising Federation (AAF) serving as President of the Lincoln Chapter, Governor of the AAF 9th District and a member of the National Board of Directors. She was also active with the Central Region board and a member of the National ADDY Awards committee. Christy has received AAF Lincoln’s Silver Medal Award in recognition of her contributions to the local advertising community.
